Advice of flow

Hey, I just wanted to get some people's opinion on flow on my new tank that I am planning to get...its going to be around 30"L 24"W and 18"tall (around 55 gal). I wanted to install a reeflo dart with a om sqirt hd in a closed loop because I hear that it is quiet and uses only 160 watts...do you think that this will be tooooo much flow? If so, what other pumps would you recommend? Also, where are the best places in the tank to drill 2 drains and 4 returns for the closed loops?

Sequence dart is too strong for that size. I think you should try Iwaki MD40rtl or rlxt. I am running the MD 40RLXT as a closed loop in my 150G and it work great.

The amount of flow that is acceptable is highly dependant on whay you are planning to keep.
