Advice on Skimmer

Being new to the SW and having FW for years I am at a loss on skimmers.
I am planning a 90gl and plan on having fish and corals. Whats a good skimmer that is dependable and will help maintain my tank.

are you planning on having a sump or not? that would help the people here(including myself) help you deside on a skimmer

If you have a sump, the Reef Octopus is a good skimmer.
