I went the the LFS the other day and bought a acro for my 4month old tank to see how it does. ive bought plenty of corals for my other tank from the place and have never had a issue. At the time i didnt have the dip, normally i would. I took the coral and on the back side the small dead spot had about 50 or so eggs. The tank i placed the coral in has no other corals aside from a acan. I decided to get a little bowl of water from the tank, take the coral and scrape the eggs off with a razor blade.... bad idea?
It seemed i got all of them off, as the coral was out of the water it slimed naturally so i took some of the slime and rubbed it on the dead patch hoping it would kill any other things left on there.
4hrs later PE looks great and the coral looks like its doing fine.
Would u suggest getting the dip over to that house so i can drop him in or sit it out and see what happens. From the eye i cant see 1 egg or AEFW and i spent a good amount of time looking at it
Thanks!
