Sorta... The fitting on the bottom that the water orginally exits the skimmer to the sump is the same. The fitting that the Beckett was connected to was enlarged to 2" and now is connected to the intake side of the orca pump. I added a 1.5" hole to accomadate the orca out pipe. and added a 3'4" bulkhead for the water inlet. You cant see the water inlet because it is on the back side of the skimmer but the hose in the forground is connected to that fitting. The orca recirculats only.

does the modded Aerofoamer cost more to operate than before the mod?

well i think it will cost a little more 110W for a genx mak4 i removed vrs. 120 W for the Orca. But what do I care I get cheap electric here ....

I am waiting to get a piece of PVC culvert pipe from a friend who puts them in. It is 30" across and 6' tall
I am going to build a skimmer out of that for my Next project . I will use 3 of these Orcas to power it

Im thinking of upgrading my lighting to 1000W halides instead of the 400wers LOL
