From what I've read they are way more reefsafe then the risky flames and CB's

Also is this an agressive fish? Do you think it would encourage schooling from my anthias?

they are hit and miss. I have seen some rather timid individuals and some that were freaking unholy. I would watch the SPS corals, but if they are the last fish you add you should not have much of a problem with aggression.

From my research on dwarf angels in other forums I think it depends on the individual fish. FWIW, my LFS has had an African flameback in a 100+ gallon tank with SPS, clams, etc without any known problems for several years.

Mine is aggresive towards any other fish that I add. It gave my exquisite wrasse a hard time but now they tend to swim together. Weird because I had a 6line and a yellow dwarf angel do the same thing a yr or 2 back.

As for reefsafe, he has yet to pick on my zoo's or clams. But wouldn't know about LPS and SPS.

I have never any problems with my Flameback. He gets along with the other fish and has never nipped at any of my corals (sps, lps, zoa's, shrooms, clam). He does help with algae control, and is a very beautiful fish.

i have one in my 210, peaceful and so far hasnt bothered any corals. he cant be agressive,,,his tank mates a pair of bluethroat triggers, a harlequin tusk, etc etc~

Well I actualy wont him to be initimdating or slightly agressive ... I want a fish that will encourage schooling from my anthias.

Tank mates would be

5-7 Anthias

2 Percula Clowns

Pair of dottybacks (not sure which kind yet)

or x out the Dottybacks and a add a Pair of mandarins.
