After moving Rebuild of a 92 gallon corner tank.

Not sure if t his is something many people want to follow but i have recently moved and I am in the process of doing my 92 gallon aquarium once again. Prior to moving I was disgusted with a few pieces of coral that i recieved that had very small Aptasia on them that i failed to notice prior to introducing them into my tank. Guess what i ended up getting......... the worse case of aptasia outbreak known to man. so i decided to deal with it as i knew i would be tearing the tank down and starting from the ground up. so here is the thread of corner tank 2.0 as i like to refer to it.

hope you enjoy and would love to hear your suggestions as we go along

1 thing i am doing new this time is setting my liverock up on 3 inch PVC rings so that when i start the DSB then the rock will look to be on the sand bed but in actuality it will be just at the same level.

So i have some pictures that i will post the tank is full and I have replaced all 120 pound of live sand. I figured that after 9 years the other stuff was ready to say good bye. I am attaching some pictures to this now of the Aqua-scaping i have done so far, water got a little cloudy from the movement of the rock. please let me know what you think.

here i finally figured out how to post pictures into the message instead of just a link.

please give me the feedback on the set-up because that is how we all get better is through feed back

So a brief update. Nitrites were a little high saturday when i did my water change so i figured that I would wait before i start adding any other livestock. I have 3 fish and a few of the original C U C in the tank and they are all doing well no signs of harm or anything due to the spike in the nitrites. my guess is that the nitrites went a little high because I replaced the old sand bed and added new sand a few days and everything should be back at 0

Kind of in a funk I am supposed to be setting up new Lights from a new Light vendor to do some testing for them and UPS says that they were left on my front door step and when i excitedly got home there was nothing on my front door step. have contacted the Manufactures already waiting to hear from them on the next step.

You'll get far more response either in the corner club posted above or in the reef discussion forum than here... Good Luck!
