After the horse has bolted

I have lost quite a few fish due to an oodinium outbreak in my display tank. I am now going to set up a quarantine tank for my new stock. The existing fish now seem clear of disease. I know I need to wait several weeks before adding any new fish but do I need to try and catch the current fish and quarantine them or will leaving say 12 weeks before adding new fish be enough?

The surviving fish could be carriers, so they will need to be treated in a QT and the DT left fallow for a minimum of 6 weeks. Chloroquine phosphate is the preferred treatment for Amyloodinium.
