Thanks! Yes I can't wait until the corals fill in. I estimate in about a year from now much if what I have will be full sized colonies.
As for fish, almost all my wrasses died due to another wave of an unknown bacterial infection of the skin. Lesion shows up and the fish go into paralysis within about 12 hours and are dead not long after. I am convinced it is some sort of bacteria in the sand. I am down to a male and female pair of bipartitus leopards, a potters wrasse, and a white tail tamarin. All other fish are doing very well.
Just picked up two jumbo blotchy anthias. They are in QT for a few more days. Really neat fish with great personality! Plus Fiance loves the color combo and polka dots

Thanks Ed! Yeah that's why I hate posting FTS. Really hard to capture everything. If I ever get around to doing the composite photo, I think it will do better justice.

That piece is sweet Erik! Super blue just the way I like those corals.
It looks like you bought quite a few new colonies since the last time I saw your tank. How many different kind of sps do you have in there now? Have you counted?
Haha yeah a few more corals but nowhere close to as many as you have! Knowing what I spend avg per coral I am afraid to count!!

lol james. i thought u were confined to nano tanks w/ high end corals? lol jp. since i dont have the same eye for rare corals i dont think i will ever come back into the hobby. i just like coming on here from time to time to bs and see whats crackin.

Dude I'm a true reefer on a budget, I spend money on the corals and not the tank. And in my defense a 60g is not a nano!
You don't need an eye for the rare stuff Alex to be in the hobby. This hobby is just awsome because we can add a piece of the reef to our homes. When the new tank is up I'm going to be picking up a lot of fishes!

I'm still here since I haven't seen www.reefcentralrehab.com go live yet. And I'm curious to know if Dalton is still around as well. Saw him briefly working at Ocean Treasures in SF but that was a while back.

that must have been a hush hush black market purchased wild caughts, theres no way any lfs would buy $750,000 of fish..... theres not alot of people that can afford $2500 fish....... and sitting on that much money worth of fish is just unethical
