Aggressive Behavior

In the past two days, my B/W Clowns have become extremely aggressive towards each other. Chasing each other in circles, chasing each other to the other side of the tank, visible bite marks on each other. I have had this pair for about 8 months now. Don't know exactly how old they are. They fight constantly over the Lobo and Open Brain they live in.

Is this normal?

if there is to much damage your may have to put a divider in the tank and seperate them for a few days or so. but they are prolly deciding on who is going to be the female.

Hope they end up ok.

When I put my hand in my tank, the largest clown attacks it every time. Swims full speed and takes a peck at it. Is that normal?

There isn't much difference at the moment. You can slightly see one is larger than the other. Which very well be the female. A divider wouldn't be possible since I have much rockwork. I may just have to scoop up one at night and put it in a container inside the tank. No aggresion towards me though.

They are showing signs of courtship, I believe. They do "shutter" towards each other.

Could this aggression be a sign that they may possibly start spawning soon?
