Aggressive clown

I have 3 green chromis and a false percula clown in a 46 gallon tank. The clown is very aggressive towards the chromis. He chases them around all the time. Anyone know the reason for this?

our clowns killed the chromis we put into a 50g with them. Clownfish can be very territorial, and if they have it in for a fish you might be best removing the chromis.

You have to remember that clownfish are from the same family as Damsels after all.

My female saddleback from time to time will grad a chromis with her mouth and feed it to her anemone. A nice $5 snack every couple of months.

My ocellaris chase my blue\green chromis often. The chromis just learned to stay away from the clowns. I think my ocellaris pair thinks of it as a game. Some thing to chase when bored :) They have been together for a little over a year and the clowns haven't hurt the chromis yet.

I've not seen this.... not saying it doesn't happen because clearly it does. I would have guessed a clarkii complex or maybe a tomato complex. Not an ocellaris. None of my tank mates ever seemed to notice the chromis were even there.
