I am not sure if this is the right forum for this but I stumbled into helping take care of a 200g FOWLR tank. (It's addicting I already have 3 tanks at home SHEESH!) Anyways, we have 3 tangs that were acting really shy (except when I'm around, they looooove me) so we decided to get 3 Bartlett's Anthias to give them some courage to come out! Wow what a difference it has made! However, I know for sure that one of them is a male, quite possibly 2 of them just from my own research. The one that I know for sure is male gets beat up a LOT by my Japanese Swallowtail. His fins are getting really torn up and when I observe them together, the Swallowtail chases the two males constantly. The Swallowtail is fine with my 3 tangs, and doesn't bother my bonded clown pair. In fact, we have a third clown and they're good buddies and swim together. He HATES my Anthias and he is much bigger than them so I get nervous. Recently after a feeding, I watched him for 10 minutes as he chased the two male Anthias around the tank angrily and when he was finally done he started blowing bubbles out of his mouth? It was weird but anyways after this long winded story, do I have anything to worry about? I feed them multiple times daily so I don't think it is because of a lack of food.. He was so peaceful and now he is aggressive but I can tell the Anthias take stress off the other fish..
