You can keep any fish in any tank, but that doesn't mean you SHOULD. It's perfectly fine to keep juvies in grow-out tanx (we have several running at any given time), but you need to have a plan for upgrades and be serious about doing them. For instance, our P. volitans is in its 4th setup. It progressed from a 6 gal cube, to a 24 gal cube, to a std. 60 gal, to a 48" x 24" x 20" 100 gal.
Also, you got the wrong fish first...that trigger will "own" the tank, not to mention that non-planktonic-feeding triggers and lions are typically bad ju-ju.
