Aggressively going at it (sharks)

The 8th was found this am.

Three females. Two appear mature. One is very close. One mature male (Chris A's original import from Dejong. The poor shark has been to at least 4 countries and 3 continents.) Also one immature male.

I was cleaning out some boxes/storage and found a little over a year old Mazuri gel unopened. What do you guys think? Shelf life being unopened, would it still be OK to use?

Oops, forgot to add the photo. :) Thanks mates!

The container I'm currenly using is from April 12, 2013. (Happens to be sitting on my desk while typing this.)
You should be good. As long as they stay dry, they have a great shelf life.

Just an update - 2 more today. Total of 10 thus far. My older female has thinned out. I think she is done laying for the year. Hopefully these are fertile.

Good luck! I can't wait to see pics of a pile of pups hanging out together.

Thanks, but i'm not convinced they are fertile after every yolk fell apart at the 5-6 week point last year.

Last year I had recently dosed dimilin and maybe that was the issue. I guess I will know more in a month or so. Right now they are spread throughout 4 different tanks.

BTW Zoodiver - I'm looking for a bunch of porkfish or other grunts to fill my new lagoon. If you know a good source, wholesale or retail email or PM me. Thanks

Two more eggs yesterday. Total of 12. I put a window in one of the early eggs and found no embryo. Just a dimple in the yolk. I hope they are not all infertile, Will update if I see anything.

I doubt the eppie eggs are fertile. I have a female hallistromi dropping eggs with no male and my two male speckeleds are immature. One is 20 inches the other 16. The female is >32 inches

Thx. 11 eggs in total, I only checked one. I have them in 4 different tanks, all at different temps. It should be sometime near Labor Day though.
