aggressiveness of green mushrooms

Hello,

A friend of mine has offered me a frag of a neon green mushroom and I don´t have experience with this particular variety.

Since I have Ricordea's that I love so much and it will be in touch with them at some point, I would like to know if they are aggressive with them or there´s no problem.
My friend told me that they killed his red mushrooms, that´s why I began to worry...

I don´t have a pic but this one found in google will do the job (I´m pretty sure they are exactly the same):

There are 3 baby ricordias to the left of the Hairy's real close to the front glass but I dont think you can see them in that shot

Not entirely sure. I've had mushrooms populate and out compete some stuff. I have one green hairy mushroom right now in my tank. it took hold in a high flow spot and is really stretched towards my blasto's which is odd. I think they could mess a mushroom up, but I can keep you posted. I can tell you that chalice trumps mushroom.

Hey James, I don't want to hijack this thread.. In one reply, just curious about how often your palythoa's live like that. ("Tentacless-ness") Mine went like that for a year once I swear.

My tank light's off for another 9 hrs. I can show you my silly hairy mushroom then.

The palys roll up and spread out at random, gave up on them a while back..
They got their tentacles the just keep hiding from time to time..
Dont think they are happy where they are at, but I dont have any where else to put them..
Bring on the silly hairy mushroom pics..
One of mine just ate a 1" chromie that went through the power head, took it about an hour..

Chalice trumps acan also...

Thanks for the replies!

My concern is about this green kind of actinodiscus since they killed the red ones in my friend´s tank.
Some of them are more aggressive than others, I guess...

I have both yumas and floridas and they are my favourite coral (at the moment...).

Like the fish got whacked by the blower and landed on the shroom? That chromis probably had it coming, mean buggers! JK JK :)

No I had a larger powerhead in the back left corner, I use to stir the tank before changing water.. I turned it on with out checking it first, the chromie was hiding in it.. As the shroom was closing up from the tank being stirred, I put the chromie's body on it..
Mine all get along, dont bother anyone, the clown on the other hand is the devil reincarnated...

But to get the thread back on track, one of my hairy mushrooms is laying on the blue mushroom I have, dont see where they are hurting each other, seems to be pretty calm..
The 6" Hairy is covering the 2" blue by about an inch.... running out of room quickly, got to get the frag tank up this weekend, it will be for my shrooms..... :)
