Has anybody who has had an agressive Invetabrete as a hitchhiker decided to create an agressive invert only tank? I am considering starting one in my 10 after I set up my 35. It seems like a cool idea. Mantis shrimp, gorrila crabs, stone crabs etc. could be rather interesting.

I'd do a mantis only tank, and have done a mantis only tank. Depending on the size of the mantis and the size of the crabs I can guarentee you will end up with 1 mantis and zero crabs or multiple crabs and no mantis. Especially if the crab gets hold of the mantis while it molting....

Alone mantises are great fun and most people on the mantis board actually have, used to have, or are setting up mantis tanks just for a mantis. They are interactive, pretty smart and incredible hunters. I dunno about the crabs, crabs tend to be pretty secretive. Maybe if you target fed them they might be pretty active...ANyone here acually kept and fed a gorilla or something? Did it get al friendly?
