I had a pair of mandarinfishes. I lost the male, and the female has been living alone for some while. Yesterday I finally found her a husband, but so far it isn't a happy marriage. The female is mean to her male. She chases him around, and tries to bite his fins. I never thought I would see an agressive mandarinfish, but this is the situation now. The male is smaller than the female, and that can be part of the problem. It's only the second day together, so my hope is that the problems will pass. Is it something I can hope for? And is there anything I can do to help them? I really wish them to be a pair, and for the situation to calm down. Has anyone else experienced this?
