Agressive small OC Clown

Anyone ever seen a bully OC Clown to a Gold Stripe Maroon? Seems lately my OC clown is bullying my Maroon where the OC will dart in and confront the Maroon and the Maroon will turn sideways and then kind of horizontal. Is this the Maroon submitting? The Maroon is about a quarter size bigger then the OC and currently has a nice sized chunk missing from it's tail. I figured it would be the other way around since the 1. Maroon is a more aggressive species and 2. is bigger. The more I think I know these animals the more they surprise me.

yes when i tried pairing an ocellaris with a maroon my ocellaris turned into a monster and killed atleast 5 fish and beat the hell out of the maroon.
