Its so cool to see a tank that's almost 5 years old and the progression its made. Heck, most people have a tank for a few months, then tear it down, upgrade or downgrade. Its good to see there's still some stability in the hobby
Yea I've been thinning the zoa carpet down since the re-scape. It collects too much detritus. Now I have gsp's growing up the front glass. Now that really looks like green carpet. LOL
Well, I got out of hobby a short while after loosing battle with AEFW twice. Set up the tank again last Nov. It comes along nicely but I have to keep up with husbandry which I do once every few months .
Very nice tank. Seems like things really stabilized and saw good growth between Nov 09 to sept 2010. Anything contributed to that good growth? Kalk, lights, feedings?
OK ... Not much changed, just different 250w bulbs. Went from Phoenix 14K (too strong), to Reeflux 20K's (big growth spurt), to Reeflux 12K's. Corals really grow under Reeflux bulbs. Just now I'm more interested in color, not so much growth. That's why I run XM 20K's now.
