i didnt think it was but then some1 told me it was... the verrucae are blueish purpleish.. wwm says that this would be a gigantica and i agree.. but people are still thinking its an atlantic

From the single picture, I would not lean toward S. helianthus(Atlantic Carpet/Sun Anemone).

It looks like an atlantic carpet to me to kinda. But it could be gigantea. How is it attached?

Evox, there are thousands of species of anemones, hundreds in the atlantic.

Looks like a S. gigantea to me, a pic of the underside would confirm it.

Unlike lloydkeller suggests, I've read that S. helianthus only gets to a maximum size of 6 inches. But the part about eating fish, I would say is a concern.

whatever it is its dyed. it looks kinda like gigantea or maybe haddoni but either way i believe that it is dyed.
