Do you think they could park a Hummer in that lol

Thats kinda what i was thinking to lol Just goes to show you the difference in opinion. Look how many people in a given group over there drive a small car compared to a big one lol They have trade offs low safety but high gas milage.

Any way did you look at that tank in the thread??? That is my dream tank!!!

HEY... hey, hey now.. I just bought an H3! Easy...

That's alright, I was talking about real hummers not the wanna-be's. ;)

Seriously though, anyone else just start laughing uncontrollably when they see one of those things (h2's & h3's)? I can't understand for the life of me why anyone would buy one of those.

Here is a cool site dedicated to the H2. (Parental advisory, explicit lyrics.)

That website is absurd... the funny thing is that we traded in our Mitsubishi Montero (full size, not the sport) for the H3 and we get better gas mileage, can use cheaper gas (Montero required premium, why? I couldn't say), the H3 has more power and looks a hell of a lot better... Half of the H2's they are flipping off are H3's...

For the record though, I bought the H3 for my wife.. I still drive the Saabaru... SUVs are things I could never get into, always was a small car kinda guy..

I agree completely. We actually got rid of my wife's SUV a couple of months ago and bought a Scion TC. It's a pretty nice little car, has plenty of power and gets around 30 mpg. I've still got my bike hauler though, I just drive it as little as possible these days.

I think those people are just mad because they can't have one lol You know if they had 50g's to drop on a auto they wouldn't buy a Geo Metro lol

I wouldn't be so sure of that. Obviously they probably wouldn't buy a metro but there are plenty of other choices out there. I work with a lot of people that can drive pretty much anything they want and not one of them owns a hummer. Then again most of the people I know won't buy American either, I'm one of them. Every american car I have owned has left me on the side of the road. This includes four new american cars since 1999.

It pretty much all goes back to different strokes for different folks. :D

Yeah, I work for GM so I'm kind of stuck... if it wasn't for that, I would probably be driving a Mini Cooper S Works... but that's just me...

Yeah, bought my wife a Scion TC. That thing is great. The only problem is that we bought it at Love Lexus. They made the buying experience as painful as possible.

From the start they tried convincing my wife to buy a color that we didn't want. They tried to convince her to buy silver for two hours. The only problem was we didn't want silver. The guy kept telling her how much everyone liked it. I finally had to look at him and just tell him that I was glad that everyone else liked it, unfortunately the guy paying for it didn't. At that point I wasn't exactly polite about it.

Then they finally told us they could get the color that we wanted but it may take a while so they may not be able to give us as much for our trade, it may depreciate before the new car came in.

Next we told them we wanted the spoiler on it. They didn't get it in when the car originally came in so we had to take the car back to them to have it installed. They told us to have the car in at 7:00 (or 8:00) am and they would have a car for us to drive. My wife took the car in and no one there knew what she was there for. Not only that there was no loaner car there. She had to wait around for over an hour for someone to drive her to work (late).

They bought some generic knock off spoiler and put it on the car. It waved at you when you looked at it, very poor quality. When they had the car putting the spoiler on they took it to an automatic car wash. That put scratches all over the car, made it look like crap! We questioned them about it and they denied it.

After a few more calls someone finally mentioned the car wash and said they would have it buffed out. They took it to a body shop in St. Albans. The body shop actually made it look worse!

Once we got the car back we kept looking at the spoiler, it really made the car look bad. Finally someone there gave in and said they would have a new one ordered. Looks that Sell ordered the new spoiler for us. When Love Lexus called us and told us the new spoiler was in we asked them how it looked. He said he had looked at it and it looked perfect. We called Looks that Sell and asked them, he said he hadn't opened the box yet and for us to hold on. He went and looked at it and said they shipped him the wrong spoiler. Another lie by Love Lexus!

A week later the correct spoiler came in, Looks that Sells installed it and it looks great. However, we still have all the scratches and swirl marks. We ended up taking it to another body shop and having them buff it out. They ended up having to buff it out on two seperate occasions. They couldn't believe how bad the paint had been messed up. Love Lexus didn't offer to reimburse us for having the car buffed out. All they said is that "they went out of their way to make us happy". Believe that if you want.

Anyway, long story short. We love the car, we hate Love Lexus.

Yup, world would be a pretty boring place if everyone liked the same things. Plus you would never be able to find your car in a parking lot. :)

It's a sporty little car that gets good gas mileage and it makes my wife happy. As long as the wife is happy I'm happy. :D On top of that it actually cost less than my bikes have cost me over the past couple of years.

The problem I have with a Scion, is that they would have to build the car around me, in order for me to fit in it. lol

The tc actually has a good bit of room in it. It is about the same size as the 97 eclipse I had and the 91 eclipse my wife had.

Yeah the TC seems to be a nice little car AGAIN, only in my opinion and from what I have heard.

I'm not one for big gas guzzlers either but if you like your big cars so be it. I say enjoy them while you still have gas to put into them, because one day you wont.

One of my classes last semester the professor was a patrol engineer and he claimed that by the 2018 oil will be so expensive that it won't even be able to be sold mainsteam it will be somthing you save up for to take you 1968 camero for 1 weeked a month or year. And the the supply will run out by about 2025.

And the the supply will run out by about 2025.

When I was growing up I heard the same thing then one day in the mid 80s everyone forgot the warnings and well here we are again. That kind of talk was chalked up to those smelly hippies and everyone knows they don't know anything because they smell and dress funny and you would be crazy to listen to a warning from a smelly hippie.

Well I guess
We sure showed them huh?

A paradigm shift is coming, there is no reason to use obsolete engines when newer more efficient propulsion systems are becoming more available IMO.
You will find I have a lot of opinions about a lot of things, and sometimes thats just bad.
