AI 52's From MH

I want to switch to AI 52's. I currently have a 265 reef with SPS, LPS and some zoos. Currently i have MH'srunning with radium bulbs. Part of my issues is I have 2 braces that divide the tank into three sections. How many AI 52's would i need? Dimensions are 84x24x30

Using the 52's running parallel to the front of your tank you can really cover that entire area with only three modules. YOu would want to center up each module over each tank opening you have, but it shouldn't be any problem at all with coverage at 12" above your tank. Going up a little higher than that will only increase the spread as well, but lose a little in intensity. I think you'll be pretty impressed at the coverage area of these modules.

You think i could keep the SPS with no problem? Also, are these much more powerful than the original AI sols?

I don't think there would be any issue at all in keeping sps under either to be honest. The nice thing about the Fifty Two is the extra spread you get, without sacrificing intensity. I hope to have some testing done on the Fifty Two over the weekend so I have some concrete data to compare it the SOL, and many other modules out there.
