If you're still interested in participating, here are the nitty gritty details:
· The price will be $99 shipped within the US. Those outside the US will have to wait a bit longer.
(If you have a spare 5W-10W USB power adapter, and you're outside the US, please contact us)
· Only one Director per beta user.
· We will be shipping in waves; some testers may receive their Director sooner than others. Shipping will begin at the end of the month.
· This first phase of the beta is for the web interface only. iOS and Android mobile apps will follow shortly after.
· Bug and issue support/tracking will be done through our Support Ticket system only. Call-in support will not be supported initially, as our engineering team will be responding to beta related support requests.
· Most importantly, you'll be receiving a beta product; there will be bugs that pop up. We have worked tirelessly to work most of the kinks out, but user feedback is far better then us developing in a vacuum.
· We will push updates to your Director as needed. To do this, you'll need to have the Director connected to the Internet.
We're confident you'll be pleased with the end product. It's been a long time in the making, and we're pretty proud of the results.
