I have a 90 gallon. How high should they be off the water

I am NOT an expert on LED. Raising it will increase the spread but decrease PAR. So it depends on whether the light is to maintain corals or simply view the tank.

Are you using one fixture for your entire tank? What are the dimensions? What kind of coral?

If only using one fixture I do not think it will be enough unless it is a cube and even the. Would need to be 14"-20" high.

there are a lotfof factors involved you really need to decide for yourself. For me I just get it as low as I can while having it visibly cover all the area I want it to with light. Simple and should work.

Start with 10-12" and adjust from there.
