AI Led

You pulled the corals out to hypo the tank?

That means all the bacteria and biodiversity on your liverock and in your sand will die and create a huge ammonia spike!

The proper way to treat fish is in QT and leave your tank fishless for 8weeks.

Let me clarify this because I don't want to get off the subject of the AI and Profilux.

All rock and corals were pulled. I expected the ammonia spike hence my 50 gallon water changes every other day, thanks to the automation of Profilux. Ammonia came up but was under control due to water changes.

Thanks for the info on how the "proper" way to treat fish.

navyav8tr,
Wow, how high is that off the water? Do you get enought light to the bottom of your tank. Mine are just right above the water.

Screen Shots, If I can figure out how to post them here.

Do you have the screnshots?

Use photobucket or imageshack to upload the files.

They are about 8 inches off the water but there is definitely enough light getting to the bottom. The way I took the shot it makes it appear much higher. I need to invest in a PAR meter to actually see what I am getting.

Few more pics.

Those need some work.

Your missing out on the actinics.

Try and copy my settings and see how you like it.

It looks like that you are running your blues an hour longer at morning and evening. Not sure, what that going to do for me.

The blue LED's runs for 120min (2hrs) before and after the white starts to ramp up/down.

That gives a dusk/dawn effect and corals look like they are glowing under actinic.

I ran mine like your new set up when I has using the AI controller. Your sun up and down time are a little longer. I am going to pay around with it weekend. I think I need to work on the clouds and storms.
