AI Prime and Anemones

Purchased a AI Prime for a rimless 15 gallon AIO.
Live stock was a few easy sps and some lps.

Also had an anemone RBTA to be exact and it started bleaching out.
Had the levels from 35%-80% over a a few weeks with the Uv being around 60% at the end.

Anyone know the good setting to use for anemones yet in the AI prime??

What did you use before getting the Prime?

You should have started very low, I am getting some of the Hydra 26's and have been advised by one of the reps to run at 20 - 30% for 30 days then slowly increase to desired output. UV should be even lower to start with as this can do a lot of damage to corals, etc if they arent acclimated to it properly.

Hmm well before I had it under a chiense box and it split and everything was great.
A buddy was telling me the uv should stay low like under 20% even.

I currently have it set to 50% but with UV at 0%

I will say that when I switched lighting (led to better led) my GBTA's (3 of them) were not happy at all. It was a change in spectrum that I believe caused the issue.

I have two AI primes and 1 Kessil 160we over my Reefer 250. As many people have said you really can't rely on Par readings - careful acclimation is key and it is always better to start low and build rather than go "full bore"..

One of the puzzling things about your situation is - in my experience, if an anemone doesn't like the conditions in its current location (flow, lighting, neighbors etc) it will generally move - is there anything which would have prevented it from relocating?
