MarineDepot - are you out of stock on the gooseneck?

I am deciding between it and the other fix mount you sell. I have a Fluval M90 so I would need to get the light to the middle of my tank 10" out- (4" over sump and 6" to middle) I think the fixed arm is 9", but with the light screwed to the end might reach the middle?

I need to that final push to make the purchase - Will it make all my LPS, zoa, and GSP growing coral dreams come true?

Thank you for your question! We are happy to help.

We recommend the 12", which is actually in stock but not coming up in search for some reason (we're troubleshooting now).

Here's the link.

10" is just what I need horizontal doesn't account for vertically. I would have thought 18" goose neck? I am covering 36" by 12" footprint with two of these was thinking 8" to 10" high?

It sounds like the Tank Mount may also work for you.

You can see how it looks in this video:

I have the 12" on my IM Fusion 10 gallon.... It has to reach our 7.5" to get to the middle of the tank, and is actually a little long, even when positioning the light about 6" above water.

But if you need 10" extension, and 10" above water, you will NOT get there with the 12".

If you think of a triangle, 10" on bottom, from back tank to light position, 10" up from center of tank to light height, you would need 14" for the hypotenuse... and since you are more likely "arching" the arm, you need even more than 14".

Thanks LX20000 and Marine Depot

I think I am going to go with the Tank Mount- about to pull the trigger

Tank Mount will let me slide vertically and Horizontally to pick out where I want

Edit - Order sent- wish you had 3xl shirts. I would look good in a sexy shirmp shirt.

Thanks for being so accessible.
