AI prime or hydra 26?

In the coming months I am going to be shopping for some new lights... I want to start adding sps to my reef. I have a 45 gallon tank my question is are 2 primes strong enough to support sps on a tank of this size or am I going to need to buy 2 hydra 26's? Tank depth is 24"

Hydra 26 is your best bet, plus if you decide to upgrade again in the future, you can still use the hydra 26.

Agreed. Hydra 26 will without a doubt be perfect.

Neither. Kessil. I've always had a thing for Kessil because I do a lot with frags. I tried all the lights out there and those by far the best IMO. Things started out as plant lights, what more information does someone need. They're just built a certain way and under those the corals that I frag easily had double the growth.

for a 45 gallon tank i would probably go with a pair of hydra 26's. i have a 35 cube with a hydra 26 voer top of it, it is 20"x20" and the hydra does a very nice job of lighting that area. anything larger and i would want a second one.

I'd go with 2 Hydra 26 HD's. You will get plenty of power, no shadowing, and built in Wi-Fi control. What more could you want?

They are great lights IMO.
