AI sol blue availble??

Anyone know of anywhere that has 2 of the Aquaillumination Sol super blues available??

I decided to finally bite the bullet and ordered two of them only to find out they are on back order for 3-4 weeks. I really want these things bad! :eek1:

I already have the controller. Just need the lights.

Thanks for the quick reply. I looked on their website and they give no indication if they are available or not. I tried calling them 3 times this morning and can not ever get a hold of anyone from the sales department.

I've ordered 6 from Aqua Cave in the past 3 months and just ordered 2 more yesterday. Expect a 2 to 3 week wait.

I've gotten 3 from reef geek. the first one was a 2 week wait, the 2nd was 3 weeks and the 3rd was a month. I'd recommend placing an order and securing your place in line as the wait time seems to be growing.

purchased mine on easter weekend from aquarium specialty and they are shipping thursday but controllers are backordered for prolly another month!!!!!!

Yea my first one I waited about 3 weeks as well. However I just placed another order with eyepoppincorals dot com and they said next week sometime and are offering free controller as well! To bad I did not know this before hand o well

It appears that AI wants stores to have zero inventory on hand. But they are sure popular items. I would NOT put them online without a controller or they might burn your corals.

Interesting... I ordered my two months ago and got it instantly!. I ordered it from Premium Aquatics at first but got a call the next day that it was backordered.. I canceled and called a few stores and Aquarium Specaility had 2 units left so I grabbed both..

Guess I was lucky.

This whole thing is a bit crazy. I am not saying they need to have shelves full of these things but they should at least ramp up production and supply enough to keep the early adopters and enthusiasts happy.

FYI I found some modules at TB aquatics. They got some in stock this morning. Placed my order and got a ups shipping notice a little while ago. YAY!!

my unit shipped today minus the controller. so effectively I have a 600$ paper weight until I get the controller which has a month wait time.

No they do not have any controllers in stock. I was lucky enough that my LFS had a couple controllers on hand so I Bought that earlier this week. The only piece of the puzzle I dont have now is the hanging kit but I think I will DYI mount them in my hood.
