Aiptasia and Zoas

Ok I have a rock of zoas in my nano that has a slight aiptasia problems and for some reason I cant keep peppermints alive in my nano, if i use something like joe's juice on them will it kill the zoas also? If so anybody have any ideas?

If you have a syringe, you can inject the joes juice in the aips... Its more affective that way anyhow... For that matter you can use Kalk too... You just want to try and not get the joes juice on the zoas... You should be fine if you're pretty careful... Oh, if you need a syringe I think you can get them at the Coop... I'm not sure though... I usually get mine from Clients or Vets...

I use Reef Complete and it completely took care of my aiptasia problem, plus the corals like the extra calcium.

I think joe's juice is the same thing, though.

Leave the rock in the water if you use Joe's Juice.

with your pepps, are you dripping them or acclimating them? I use to couldnt keep pepps alive until I started acclimating them for a hour. Some say longer, but I just float them in their bag, and add a little water every 5 minutes for a hour. I'm sure you already know about that. Just lettin' you know...if you didn't.

yea I have tried everything I can think of, I just cant get them to stay alive for extended periods of tie in my nano. I have no problem in my other tank just the nano, who knows. The syringe and joe's juices worked awesome though.
