Aiptasia Eating Sea Slugs

Hi,
I thank everyone who was interested in the Berghias and the introduction to this forum. We learned a lot by raising them.

But one last finale to the story. Our Rock Mover Wrasse "Randall" is about 4 years old. He has tried to eat Berghies on two occasions now in broad daylight, shamelessly right in front of us. The first occasion a couple of days ago he tried to eat one and kept spitting it out like a cat and mouse. He gave up and it crawled away. Today he dragged one off a rock and tried to eat it, same as before. It got pretty roughed up and we happened to distract him. the berghie got away but the wrasse went back to excavate out the whole rock pile and the glass cleaner from god on a stick had to intervene and pile the sand back over the tunnel.

So, although the aiptasias fear for their lives, so do the berghias with a fish like Randall.

Anyway thank you all.
