Saw this guy in the depths of the rocks today

Please tell me it's not what I think it is.

It's a rock on the bottom. Guess I'm going to the LFS tomorrow.

How old is the tank?

If it's relatively new then moving rocks around is part of the process. It's not that kalk won't work, but are you planning on using kalk as opposed to a two part or something else?

The current tank is only been up for 2 months. But all the rock and live stock has been going for 8 months. I upgraded tanks.

I'll probably do the kalk. Seems easy enough. Just don't have any on hand. I'll get it tomorrow

Depending on your fish and inverts you have, true peppermint shrimp will destroy them. Ymmv

Can't do peppermints you say, well, swing by Wally World and pick up some Mrs.wages pickling lime for that kalk experience. Cheaper is better in my book.

A syringe, a short piece of rigid airline tubing, and a 1" piece of regular airline tubing to connect them together will make you the perfect tool for getting to it without moving a thing. Fill the syriiiiiinge with boiling water and cook it in place. No muss, no fuss, and you can also use the setup for spotfeeding corals.
