Aiptasia,Kalkwasser and my Mantis...advice needed.

OK so I have some Aiptasia in one of my tanks. Two strains, really, one smaller and dark reddish and one where the monsters are more clear and quite large. Yes, I could chuck the rocks, though they are great rocks and have mushrooms and zoanthids on them as well. The Aiptasia seem to stay on the side away from the Zoas, so perhaps they have had their stinging butts handed to them by the Zoas? I'm not sure...

It is a 6 gallon tank, so a fish that eats aiptasia would be very cramped.
I could add peppermint shrimp, if i got the variety that actually liked eating the stuff...and if they didn't eat anything else...and if they were not eaten by the main inhabitant of the tank.

Glaurung, my 3.5" G. Platyosma is currently molting. That leaves me an opportunity to do some work without the chance that the litle monster will whack me. I have Kalkwasser, syringes (thanks to Jennifer for being Diabetic...er, well, thanks anyways to her), a smaller critter-keeper to wor in if need by, gloves.

QUESTION 1: Should I remove the offending rocks to the smaller holding ank to inject the Aiptasia?

QUESTION 2: Will the residual 'juice' harm my mushrooms, zoas?

QUESTION 3: Assuming that I should do the work in the main tank, will the circulating medicine pose any threat to my mantis (who is molting, remember...) or to the other inhabitants (hermits, snails, feather dusters etc...).

Thanks in advance,

-Ron
