Aiptasia killing leather

I noticed my neon green sarco had not been opening up lately, but when I got close enough to inspect, a small aiptasia was growing under the foot of the leather. By the time I noticed the base of the leather has started changing almost like it is constricting or shriveling. I think I have killed the aiptasia, but I may still lose the leather. Anyone have any tips? I've never heard of this happening before.

You say that as if you actually had doubts.

I did at first when the base started wasting away.

The things I have most faith that will pull through most adversities are the lovely ball anemones and aiptasia. If there is ever nuclear fallout we will be left with roaches and these sea pests.

Maybe it attended an AA meeting. "Hello my name is Sarco and I am an alcoholic"

I think Marty had several corals that had a hangover when he was dosing vodka. To be honest, he never said he was dosing the tank. Hmmm. The more dosing you do the better the tank "appears." :lmao:
