Air pumps add phosphates to my tank?

I was told an air pump will add phosphates to my tank? It only has LR in it now.

Never heard anything like that. On the other hand, whatever is in the air will get down to tank. So, unless you don't have excessive stinch of airfreshners, paints, etc... you should be fine

yea, i have never heard of that either. i dont think that it would logically happen, but you never know.
