Air Water Ice for drinking water?

Does anyone use there Air Water Ice RO/DI system for drinking water? How is it? Did you switch from spring water to RO water? Any thoughts would be helpful.

fwiw. i dont have an air water and ice unit, but i think youll prob enjoy your spring water better.

mine is stripped of everything, so the water is pure pure, kind of a bland taste. great for coffee however.

spring has alot of nice minerals etc that give it its unique taste.



on another note, im having a problem with both my sirius radios, could you help me

You can get a DI bypass valve from AWI for drinking water so the water doesn't taste like nothing. I will be ordering some additional stuff from them soon for my full install. Right now it's just set up under the sink in the bathroom.

I think they have a system that is both RO and RO\DI with a faucet that allows you to choose what you want, drinking or reef.

just buy a tee and tee it off before it gets to the DI cartage and u will have drinking water. i am currently running it like that.

have you guys tasted your RO water vs zephyrhills etc and are still boasting this?


mine can be bypassed as well and thats what i drink, but its just not ths same.

im a very avid water drinker however, so maybe some might not notice the taste vs others.
