After going through some of my current stock a couple weeks ago with Jay at RR, (much of what I got from him and a few pieces from other shops or other hobbyists), we figured out that the Avengers frag I picked up a few months ago from another shop was a knockoff and not the real deal. He keeps track of who he sells to and as far as I know no one in Canada has a piece of the real Avengers that didn't die...
Long story short I convinced Jay to bring me in a piece from his farmer, and I picked it up today, it is a significantly nicer piece than the knockoff I have (which Jay also had, its an unnamed Indo Subulata). Its unfortunate another LFS sold me the fake Avengers piece without tracking the lineage or verifying that it was from Reef Raft, however I think it was their honest mistake as it was brown when I bought it and it did look similar, I also only paid 40$ for the original piece which is an insanely good price for a frag of Avengers.
Sooo today I picked up:

Bali Purple Rim Undata
RR Orange Passion Slowly starting to encrust.
RR Tierra del Fuego. Definately coloring up, but the teal base is soo subtle its really hard to show in a photo. Looks really nice in person.

The RR Nauti Spiral is starting to show some awesome greenish orange phosphorescence

Then I see all the amazing frags and I'm wondering how this is going to work out when they start to really grow?
Are these pieces spaced out enough to keep everything without changing the scape? I am dealing with something similar with my tank. Its very hard to turn down amazing SPS!:bigeyes:
My plan with this guy is to try and emulate a Bonsai approach. (Not the typical "bonsai style reef" where the rock work is like a unique tower) But more in the sense of trimming the SPS frequently and mounting frags in an array to attempt to grow mini bonsai colonies. Not sure how this will work but I hope to fill out the space with a ton of small well developed colony shapes that fill out.
Lol haven't tried this before so we will see how it works, however SPS seems to grow like a weed in my builds so hopefully it all goes well.

PO4 is 0.00 on a Hanna Checker for Phosphate (regular range not low range Phosphorus)
NO3 is undetectable on Salifert kits.
I run Zeovit so the entire system is running at ULNS
I dose KZ Coral Vitalizer and Pohls Extra to feed the corals. I currently do not target feed any corals.
I feed the fish daily. A mix of NLS pellets and rinsed PE mysis often soaked in selcon which also helps to feed the corals.

Whenever I want to find a new piece of SPS that I want to put in my tank, I am just going to take a look in here.
Is the Yellow Mille actually yellow, or just a weird shade of green? I just find that most "yellow" coral, isn't actually yellow.

8 hrs 2x Blue+, 6 hrs full 8 bulb fixture.
Haha awesome, glad to offer some inspiration. It's a yellow base and green polyp. Sunrise millepora.

Still on sandbed, not sure on all their names or species type, they are from a maricultured order that just came in. Amazing amazing pieces... waiting on ID's
