Akindynos Clown...

I am pretty sure I know the answer, I just want to make sure...

Right now I have 1 Akindynos (Australia) Clown and I am looking for a second one to have a pair... If I were to get another of the same sex, one would change so that I would have a "mated" pair, correct ??

Most likely the one that you have now is already a female or at least starting to turn. You will have to get a very young clown to have a remote possibility of it being a male. And even then, it doesn't mean that the existing clown will take to the new one.

The one I have is small (not tiny) but maybe like 1.5" if that, and I would be looking for another small one... Would it be best if I got like 3 more, then maybe I could could end up with 2 of them (1 male and 1 female) that would hopefully become "mated" ?? Would I have an issue with having 4 Akindynos together ??
