alarm sounding

my tunze stream with multicontroller had a alarm go off last night when switching to second pump which does not go on - any suggestions? it is only 7 months old - it is set for interval operation

It's probably sticking, have you tried cleaning the pump? It may need soaking in vinegar to dismantle fully.

Yes, the alarm indicates the pump is stuck, the usual cause is calcium deposits and as Mark said, you just need to clean it with some vinegar and go over all the parts as they show in the manual checking each one for deposits, debris and damage.
