Those are good pictures Is that really it's leg sticking down? It looks fake. I've never seen an eagle leg, the ones up here have long feathers that cover their legs to help combat the cold.

Thank you very much recty that means alot coming from you!
The picture is definitely real LOL and yep that's his leg and in the one picture a piece of fish hanging from it's mouth. I think that is actually why the leg looks weird it's sitting on a fish he just plucked out of the river. I have that series of shots as well there just not great because they are at a good distance. But I just got lucky, he decided after catching it he was gonna come perch 75 feet from where I was taking pictures!
It's a very easy lens to use. At first it looks daunting due to sheer size and having 3 different toggle switches, or 4 maybe? Regardless, it turns out to be very easy to use
Recently I was on the island of UN Alaska in the bearing sea for a king crab safari and had a first hand look at literally hundreds of bald eagles doing what they do. Graceful and majestic. Your photos capture what I saw. My photos pale in comparison. When you see them in their habitat it is an amazing experience. Thanks for the photos!
