yea i need to clean the tanks up some to get that anemone back up, its part of a grow out system, high nitrates and phosphates i dont do much maintenance on them, The underwater camera is a olympus (tough) maybe around $140 works great
You are correct that amelanistic is the proper term, but albino is the colloquial term. Lacking all pigment is leucistic. That would be solid white with blue eyes. Animals with that mutation lack pigment bodies and can not produce any pigments. There are also various albino mutations due to the enzyme pathway needed to produce melanin. T+ albinos or caramel albinos are missing a late enzyme and therefore have a similar pigment that is just light brown instead of dark brown.
They way these fry are looking there might be something else going on there. Multiple sets of genes responsible for the pigment production possibly. I would love some better pics to get a better idea of what could be happening.
