Albuquerque Aquarium tour!!

STARS wants to come July and have a tour or the AA ..At that point we may want to have a joint meeting of NMOK and STARS..

In the mean time I am wanting to see if anyone may be interested in a tour sooner than that...It has been a few years (DEC.07') since we have taken reefers ..

Respond if you may bee interested in the future and let me know what day(s) work best for u..

Hope you guys are charging this time, Beer/wine/food/sum-thing…its nice that your organizing it for them..no a lot of peeps get to see the inner workings…
 
dude im in lets go tomorrow lol. actually wondering if may is too soon would love that tour. though last time i was behind the curtains so to speak was putting in the ductwork never got to see the plumbing
 
I am in as well!!!! The skimmer room was awesome!!!! And i believe they use Instant Ocean on pallets!!!! They also mention that they use tap water the runs through carbon before they use it. The last time we where there Seth and I donated a remora shark and a spotted grouper. The staff was really friendly and seemed knowledgeable as well. Can't wait to go back again!!!! :)
 
Whoah, that's me in those pics. I'd be down to go again, my son is 2x as old now, so I'm sure he'd get much more out of it this time.

Yea, I'm still lurking. Nah, I don't mind you posting our pics ;0).

Not sure about the club thing (as a formality) but I'm down to trade and/or meet some new folks. Life is super busy now with Cub Scouts, sports, etc... so I'm not sure how much time I have to dedicate to anything new really.

Tanks are growing like mad (including the aiptasia) but everything is growing so nicely, I don't want to mess with anything. Besides, the neighbors are always exlaiming "how pretty" it is :0/ I'm currently in the progress of transplanting much of my stuff into the 40B upstairs, but struggling with how to move the SPS (like a huge monti 'rose') without completely destroying it.

Anyhow, back on topic: Myrddraal is my friend on here, he's probably still lurking. I know his tank is still going, but from what he's described, it's needing a good cleaning :)

Someday, when I have time, I'll post something on here offering frags...I seriously need to do some pruning to improve flow.

the next NMOK meeting(thats what Im calling it for now ) is April 17th at the Albuquerque Aquarium (behind the scenes)..
WE have limited spaces available SO Far I have these people coming:
