Algae eating fish

What could I put in my 40 gallon that could not only nibble on algae but also finish off my frozen algae cubes. I bought these cubes for my lawnmower blenny to try to get to eat but unfortunately I had a funeral to go too.

Doesn't make sense to buy a new fish to finish off food, food is cheap, keeping a fish for the duration of its life, will be 5-10x more expensive than algae cubes.. Throwing them out is probably the best thing or just keep them in your freezer till you need them.

Thank u! I just lost a blenny but I should not have bought him. Stomach was not full and no guarantee he was even eating much in the store. Got algae in my tank and he was nibbling at the rocks but never took any food that I put in tank. Just keep my frozen algae cubes for now

Make them feed the fish and you see them eat before purchase. That's a rule of thumb in this hobby.
