algae identification - and what would eat it?

Hey guys, so, I've had my tank for about 11 months now. I bought it from someone, so it was established for some amount of time before that.

The only algae problem I have had is with this stuff. It is not what I would call normal "Hair algae." If you notice, it actually has leaves like a palm, although it is very flimsy compared to what you might buy in the store. i's all over my snails, my intake and on a few various rocks.

Anybody know WHAT it is?

And probably more importantly WHAT might eat the stuff?!

No.... I DO have that in my tank, but this stuff is not the same. It's finer in it's leaf.
I just got back from the LFS, showed him the pic. He said he just read an article this week about the stuff. Showed me a pic in a magazine, and the pic looked just like this. Said, it's bryopsis.

Apparently nothing eats it....two ways to work on it. High magnesium will slow and maybe stop it's growth. Boiling your rock is the other option. Yuck.
