Does anyone know what kind of algae this is?

If you can get a better pic, we can help to determine if it truly is Bryopsis.
 
It had to be introduced from somewhere. The spores could have come from anywhere. The good news, in the past, Bryopsis was impossible to get rid of until we discovered Fluconasole would wipe it out. You should have no issues eradicating it.

Granted, spores would still be a problem without treatment, I had a cucumber that literally mowed down every bit of a significant bryopsis outbreak…then he found his way into a powerhead 🙄

As Cucumber? Never heard of that, cool.
