Algae in chambers on a BC29

Hi, Anyone have an idea about how to handle the brown stuff (I'm assuming it's algae.) in the sump area of my BC29. How 'bout introducing a snail into each chamber? Thanks for your input. STEVE

ya that is what i did make shure the snail is bigger than the opening of the pump

sg 1023, nitrites 0, ammonia 0, phosphate 0, Ca 500, dk 9 temp 78-80, kalking small doses w an ATO, skimmer

2 percs, 1 damsel, 1 pistol, 1 peppermint, 1 cleaner shrimp and a variety of snails, scarlet legged hermits, a green crab and probably a few 2-3 inch bristle worms

BioCube 29 with about 15g of sw.

Sorry about not including that before. That about does it.
