Algae Magic

Weiss Organics markets a product called Algae Magic. Their claim is that it stimulates oxygenation which eliminates the food sources for nuisance algae. It is essentially a liquid B-Complex vitamin with trace elements. I'm wondering if anyone has had a positive outcome using this product and how it might eliminate the food source for nuisance algae without having a negative effect on Macroalgae.

My belief is any product with the word "magic" in its name is nothing more than gimmick. If you cant test for it you probably shouldnt add it. You'll get plenty of O2 with just good water circulation.

I havent used it but as graveyardworm says - very likely its snakeoil.
