Algae out break!

Guys can you confirm that nitrat,phosphates and ammnoia help ALGAE growth? I got that info based on some research i did.

Please reply asap.. my glass is full of algae. It happened overnight...

3 days lights out 30%+ water change and keep parameters in line and it will slowly go away

Probably high phosphates (nutrients) are your problem. try to use a litter of GFO to lower your phosphates.

Also be mindful of how much you are feeding. A lot of the foods we feed contains phosphates.

I feed my fish 2 to 3 flakes twice a day.
