Algae Problem?

Hello all, I have a 45 gal reef tank that's been running for about a month now. I noticed this morning some brownish yellow algae and when I came home today from work it had spread all over the tank fairly quickly. I don't have much of a clean up crew so I'm sure this is part of the issue. I have 2 clowns in the tank atm. I also noticed these bubbles just sitting on my live rock... is that anything to be concern about?

Outside of getting a clean up crew what else can I do to solve the algae issue?

Yep get a mixed CUC and try and keep nitrates and phosphates to a minimum. You are going to get all kinds of blooms, it's all part of the new tank ugglies. They will go away, some need help, some will just run their course and be gone. But the best part is the colorful show you will get once coralline algae starts to grow. It will be many colors from yellow to pink to red to purple, it will all be purple in the end but leading up to it is awesome.

It sounds like a diatom bloom, and like Dkuhlmann sated, it's one of the uglier things that your tank will experience that can't really be avoided. It'll get bad....really bad before it gets better. A CUC will help, but it should go away on it's own after a week or two.
