Your tank is really new so you are going to get weird algae out breaks, thats normal you probably already had a brown diatom bloom and even a little red slime. the next step is green algae then even some hair algae. After saying that here are some suggestions that might help your situation.
What's your Alk and Ca levels?
How about some critters to eat the stuff?
Check your flow. Make sure you are getting a good ripple across the water surface this will help gas off CO2 and maintain your O2 which in turn will stabilize your pH equaling less algae growth. REMEMBER, these nano tanks are a lot different than larger reef tanks. for example, if you are topping off with RO water and you use too much you can drop your Alk in a matter of seconds. just something to look out for. Six hours is to short of a photo period your animals are going to show signs of stress. 8 to 10 is good. i would recommend an 8 hr photo period for your situation. If your running your actinic light by itself stop that and run both lights for the same amount of time.
Small water changes every two weeks.
AND Lastly try to get some coralline algae to seed your tank from someone else's tank.
I might be able to help you with that. i have a fast growing species in my system called Mesophyllum nice and pink and it grows super faast!!!
Good luck
Keep on reefin'
