Algae Scrubber Units

I'm probably going to be placing an order for Acorral EC2.0 unit soon.

I like the fact that's silent, very easy to clean, all self contained with lighting, and takes little to no room inside the sump itself. It also seems very flood safe of well positioned.

Any other alternatives I should consider in the $300 range for a discrete unit like this with double sided lights? Not currently looking at other Santa Monica solutions right now because it doesn't fit my needs.

I actually am probably leaning towards going for the Turbo High Flow units now. They're $150 or so more but it's a bit nicer with stronger LEDs and it's made and designed in the USA which makes my cockles feel good.

Most importantly, it uses a bean style drain for some serious water flow.

You can't go wrong with the Turbo's. He lives close to me and is a great guy that makes a great product. A number of local folks have purchased them and I haven't heard one complaint.

Look at the Turbo scrubbers. A lot of people here are running them and Bud's support is second to none.
